At Ai65, we believe the defining challenge of our time is about scale.
Human beings evolved to manage small numbers: a village, a harvest, a horizon. But modern life runs on big numbers — billions of people, trillions of dollars, exabytes of data. Scale!
These scales overwhelm us, tempt us into shortcuts, distort our pursuit of truth, and harden tribal loyalties. Too often, we abandon judgment — not because we are weak, but because we are human. We just don’t care to spend that much time on it.
We build buffers and guardrails to protect ourselves from everything. We use: laws, traditions, safety codes, regulations. And today, artificial intelligence, Ai, is the next big buffering tool.
Ai is also the first technology that can talk back and give us feedback or even argument.
AI can either amplify our surrender into passivity (just let the computer take care of it), or the scaffolding on which we keep our agency (our ability to decide for ourselves).
